If you want to buy a new home, there are still plenty of things you can do to kick-start your search while in lockdown. We have invested heavily in the tools and technology to enable our employees and Agents to work entirely remotely. This includes practicing social distancing, implementing work-from-home policies, and expanding cleaning schedules to maintain safe environments.

Although we are not able to conduct physical viewings at the present time, we can however work with you to Identify & search for homes that meet your criteria. All our properties include a video tour and any interested buyers will have the full benefit of this feature. We can provisionally book a viewing or even accept offers subject to a personal viewing later. For extra peace of mind, we recommend noting an interest with us for any property you are particularly keen on.  

Understandably, you may feel uncertain about buying a property right now but we strongly urge all buyers to get in touch as soon a possible to ensure they do not lose out on any new homes. I listed my home For Sale recently, and I can’t decide if I should  keep it on the market. Should I remove it? We’re in unprecedented times, but remember Covid-19 is temporary and we will recover. Despite current circumstances, we’re still seeing buyers and sellers move forward with their plans in what is historically an active Spring market. So, if your home is already on the market there is no reason to withdraw it. 

Your local Professional Estate Agent is likely to be having similar conversations with potential buyers, so they may be able to line up some interested parties to view your home once the lockdown is over.

I bought a property. What do I need to know? Many sales are temporarily paused until at least May 7, 2020. Solicitors, mortgage brokers and Estate Agents are working hard to keep the cogs turning as efficiently and safely as possible during the coronavirus lockdown. It’s also worth noting that the government has not banned property transactions from going through. Instead, it is encouraging people involved in the transaction to agree an alternative date on which to move.
